I need to retire my Reach It mini, it’s 7 years old now and the sections are breaking apart. This time around I’d like to try something else… The Ungers are real nice but at 3k+ it’s a bit too much.
I like my Xero 3k. Just ticked that they released the Destroyer less than a year after I bought it. I totally would’ve sprung for the extra stiffness.
I think Gardners are good value, known for superior stiffness and lightness, though possibly a little more brittle. It’s just hard to find distributors, and I could never figure out their lineup of which one was ‘best’. But everyone who has one, swears by it.
I also have a IPC ro/di cart and love it. I’ve had it for 8 years, bullet proof. You can go just di if you have low tds but my area has high enough tds to warrant a ro/di cart. The later costing more to start.
I use Xero pro and it’s great for every day work. Ive been using the Tucker brushes. I just upgraded my brush to an Alpha Hybrid for a large job, but I love the Nylon brushes for everyday jobs.
Nah. I get the jist of this WFP thing, 25 years of ‘nose to glass’ with physical scrapers and scrubbers, plain water and a goofy brush just aren’t giving me the quality I expect. It has it’s place though, I won’t be doing any more inset dormers or third story by hand anymore. The $1500 Chinese-made pole comes out.
