Water Broom instead of SC?

I was reading the reviews on this water broom here, which a lot of people seem to regard as worthless, and I am noticing a lot of the reviews mentioning cleaning…“decks, patios, etc…a lot faster.”

My question is, can a water broom be used as a substitute for a surface cleaner AT ALL? Does it speed up cleaning or just move dirty water?

They will not do what a surface cleaner will do. But I do believe they have a place in the tool box. I use one one every concrete job for final rinse. They work fast.

Thanks Cdubbs. I figured as much. Seems like a useful tool for moving the dirty water, for sure. I’ve tried using wide spray nozzles and nothing seems to move it like that water broom.
