Newb question here. I have a very dark green house ,to soft wash on Tuesday, and I am wondering if chlorine 12.5 sh at 3% mix will lighten the color?
Is it vinyl, stucco, wood, etc?
I personally wouldn’t put 3% on anything but stucco, block, brick, concrete, stone. Depending on the surface you might want to do a test spot before you proceed on a dark color like that.
Troll or someone who hasn’t taken the time to learn how to wash one bit
I planned to do a spot check. I still wouldn’t even want a small spot that was discolored. It is stucco.
Max1 That’s why I’m asking, but thanks for your help.
Sorry but your question lacked pretty much all information needed to give a decent answer. How your applying, type of siding, painted or not, a picture…trolls come around and people who haven’t done a lick of research so I was just calling it as I seen it.
Stucco! I plan to do a small spot check, still don’t want a small discolored spot.
Depends on if it’s painted or not. If so it depends on the paint. If it’s not that dirty start low and work your way up. You might not even need 3% unless there are heavy organic stains. You’re sometimes better off applying two or three weaker applications rather than one strong one. Your test area should answer your questions for you.
Thanks marinegrunt! I appreciate the help. I can always start at 1% and go from there. May have to spray the (white with black mold) hurricane shutters separately with a garden sprayer. I included a pic! Thanks
I personally wouldn’t wash it. Why take a risk with anything green.
I know for sure, Blue is bad. Is green that bad too?
I give these to my friendly competition and say I’m too busy, when the favour gets returned they give me a white House, works well
I stay away from the yellow, blue, orange, green, red and for sure white ones unless its off white. The brown ones i do a coin toss to determine.
