I’m a bit nervous about doing this lady’s porch. She wants it ‘powerwashed’ out along with her outdoor furniture as everything is coated in a thin layer of dirt. Wood beams/rafters/floor and vinyl siding.
Problem is, she has a flatscreen TV hanging on the wall. They are offering to take it off, but how do I prevent water from getting to the cables sticking out from the wall? I can tape/bag it but is that enough?

You can also ask if they can shut off the breaker to the porch and wait about 24 hrs for everything to dry out before turning it back on. If there’s no mildew on that section of wall, just rinse it with water, or water and surfactant, but no sh. It’s the sodium in sh that tends to short stuff out.
I’m just going to use my Xjet with water, wide fan. Really they could do the job themselves using a garden hose and sprayer.
