Wash pavers , need to sand?

I don’t do much paver work but have a 609sq ft job coming.
The few that I have done the customer didn’t want to add sand after (tight joints).
Im getting a quote together and want to know how often after a wash you needed to add sand and if you used a tamper?
Thanks

You can try just a stiff softwash on that, but I highly doubt it will touch that mess to make it worth sealing. If you use the surface cleaner, you will need to resand (as well as clean out joints well to do so properly).

I’d give it a strong mix, SC, turbo joints as needed. Sand and seal on subsequent day (or days if you use polymeric).

Soft wash did minimal cleaning but did make me be able to turn down my surface cleaner and almost no sand came out and looked great.

Tried soft wash and it didn’t do much, used SC and hardly any sand came out and it turned out good.
