Just a reminder to always double and triple check your insurance policy, and don’t believe what your insurance agent pretends to know about our trade. I was going through a cheaper policy that I had from years ago when I started washing on the side and didn’t really know any better. Holy exclusions washman!!
The first two policies I read had the exact same crap.
Seriously!? Overspray exclusion!!! I also had one agent tell me “ if it don’t say it’s excluded it’s covered “. Gotta be careful when buying a policy
Yep, and being classified as a “waterproofing by pressure apparatus” is a completely different profession. My in-laws had used this insurance broker for years for their business, so I had just blindly trusted them. I now no longer use them for anything.
Same boat my friend. I just trusted my agent of 25 yrs, he honestly didn’t have clue…
When you start asking about ccc, and start citing actual instances where an insurance company failed to cover something because of a ccc exclusion, they get real fidgety.
