WalMart Everstart Batter - 12v Question

Scrap buyers will also pay for them. About $5-$8 a battery?

I suppose would work ok, but not what it’s designed for.

I can’t for the life of me find an 7-8gpm diaphragm pump in 120. I’d like to start using my generator to power it.

You can go the booster pump route but by the time you get it all setup you’re going to be in the $1200 range probably. Sure there some on here using.

Lumax makes a 11gpm 120v pump

Gotcha, thank you. What would be the better replacement? The pressure washer I just bought used seems to have a dead battery. It’s a garden mower that came with it, but it doesn’t look like that was what came with the unit…

But here’s the downside

But if you flush it out every time I would bey6you would get same amount of life out of it

Do you run this one?

No I run a 12v just trying to help.im not sure why anyone would want to run a 110 pump. But we use them on out hazmat team for transfer pumps never had any problems with them but we are also talking about a 2 time a year kinda thing. Seams like if you wanted to run it you could just get a charger that you could plug in charge batteries and run pumps at the same time. But hey you gotta do what works for you

I would @Firefighter4hire , for chemical transfer from drums in my mixing room to small 20 gallon chem tanks on pw trailer. Ya’ll gotta link ? My most corrosive chem is hydrofluoric acid.

I would.

Oh no I get it at the shop maybe I’m confused I read this as they wanted to use it as a roof wash pump. I use my 120v pump at the shop to fill tanks also. Still gotta flush the ■■■■ out of it

Your not confused, they were talking about roof washing ,I’m just needing one at the shop to transfer and hold up to harsh chemicals

Oh well in that case I got a DEF transfer pump kit from northern tool. It has held up well so far 500 bucks I think. We do have some chemical pumps on haz mat team I go back in 4 days I will look at specs on them and let you know.

The DEF pumps are on sale for 388 right now what a deal. Buy the warranty if it breaks they give you a new one.

Thank ya sir

For 110v, why not a transformer box to 12v?i dont know alot about it, but that would be my next route to check out.

Do you mean a power inverter? You would need a heck of an inverter to run an 11 gpm 110 v pump. Why buy a 110 volt pump only to run it off of an inverter and batteries when you could just get a 12 volt pump to begin with? I don’t see the point. If I had to use something besides a 12 volt I think I’d rather just get one that runs off a small engine.

I dont know alot about the subject, as I mentioned, but he wanted to run a pump off 110v, so i was thinking use a 12v pump, and be able to at some point with some device also be able to plug into 110v. Best of both worlds, or no? Im not electrics saavy, so…
