Verifly General Liability Insurance

My insurance company specializes in plowing. The washing is covered. It would cost more to have 2 policies.

Verifly is a hack company, with insurance your better off dealing with a smaller agent whose personal.

For pressure washing, with drones I see how it would be nice and easy

You could always just photoshop your 2018 policy… change the 8 to a 9.

That might save you some $

(Joke). Have to add that so people don’t yell at me

What a pain…
45 minutes on the phone.
They are legit.
The fungi and mold from @squidskc refers to arising culture from the cleaning, as i was explained.
Lets say… some one calls you to repair their plumbing, and because of your doing there us a leak and mold grows… you are not covered for that.
Or that you pressure wash a hose and water gets to the attic and mold grows.

But the policy covers mold or fungi that is external.
If you want mold or fungi coverage that is extra…

Hope this explains it

Here is a quote I received this morning after speaking to a local agent. I think I’ll go locally.

That’s a really good price but I would definitely ask what all it covers. At that price it might be like the Verifly and only cover residential houses and not apartments, condos, businesses, etc. It might not cover equipment either if something catastrophic happens. Make sure it has “Care, Custody, and Control” or they might not cover should you accidentally cause damage to a customer’s house.

I know the policies are always long but it’s definitely worth reading. Even still, they won’t always tell you what’s not covered. It’s easy to assume so be sure to ask questions.

I should add I’m far from knowledgeable on this insurance stuff so don’t take my word on any of it. Other’s will be able to help a lot more than I. I just didn’t want you do jump the gun in case it doesn’t cover everything you need it to.

Smart move. I get mine through my Allstate agent. Auto Owners is a good company, and that IS a great price. Think Ill look em up before I renew my policy.

What agent for All State? Thats who i have everything with and they said they didnt cover when i was getting going.

Steve Mason, in Williamsburg reps a company called TAPCO from Burlington, NC. I recommend you contact Auto Owners for a list of local agents. That premium of @Fireman was REALLY strong.

Keep in mind I still have less then 0 on the experience scale, but locally I started with Allstate. At first my agency who holds my home and auto told me they didn’t cover. Then I contacted another agent and they quoted me 2 separate policies both over $4000 annually. I think it all depends on who you speak to and what they know. My quote that I got from auto owners came from a local insurance exchange. They seem very knowledgeable about what coverages I may need and what is and isn’t covered.

Who are you insured with? I wanted Erie because they seem very popular in the industry but I’m not in their area. I went with a local insurance broker who got me with IPFS based out if Dallas I believe. The price isn’t too bad in my opinion but I didn’t do much shopping around. State Farm wouldn’t even consider it LOL that sucks too because I have my vehicles and home with them at a STUPID low price with a ridiculous amount of coverage so I wanted to keep it all under one roof.

Hey guys I’m pretty new to the game and I shopped around quite a bit also and for ky it seems like not a lot of options I ended up going with new republic right at 80 a month and from what I can tell all the coverage I need I also spent quite a bit of time on the phone with the agent asking questions about the coverage here’s the contact info and if you like it please consider mentioning our company because they offer a 25 dollar referral and as everyone knows starting out every cent counts its in the wife’s name she’s a veteran we got a discount for that😊. Just mention her name or the company name thanks in advance. Hope this helps someone Yvette Flynn. Ace Hydro Washing

Careful with that Auto Owners quote. I actually had home and auto for several years with them up until last December. Sent my local broker a copy of my J.D. Walters insurance, and he couldn’t touch what I had for close to the same price. Told me to stay with J.D. instead. Rates fluctuate based on where you’re located though, so what appears to be a “to good to be true” rate to me, could be the going rate where you are.

Hi - I am the Co-founder & CEO of Verifly. Verifly is a tool for small businesses to buy insurance from an hour to a year and everything in between. All policies are underwritten by Markel, a $15B Fortune 500 company. The policy is built on a standard ISO CGL policy and therefore has the standard Care, Custody, and Control exclusions. Here is how to get a sample policy: https://support.verifly.com/support/solutions/articles/42000026983-how-do-i-obtain-a-sample-commercial-general-liability-cgl-policy-

Smaller agents do not have access to insurance from Markel or the elite insurance companies because they traditionally only sell through larger brokers to larger companies.

You guys offer equipment coverage?

Checked my current policy.
It states the same as verifly.
I called the state commission and they are legit.
My best guess cause if the low overhead.
Called a couple of agents around and most know of them but dont use it cause of margins, profit, one told me they use them only for workers comp… whatever that meant

Jay,

I am looking into your coverage. Are you saying with your “Cleaners and Janitors” policies I will be covered under Care, Custody, and Control?

Why should i choose you for insurance?

Thanks
