I am new to pressure washing and still figuring everything out. I just bought a trailer set up on craigslist and everything seemed to be working fine when they showed me. I tried to start of the soft washer with the vanguard 6.5 engine, but the starter cord does not get pulled past a couple of inches. Any tips as to how to fix it?
I don’t own a SW system, but try to press the trigger, the system might be pressurized hence why the engine won’t turn over.
On a different note, try maybe practicing and getting to know your equipment real well before going out to do work, maybe do some free work for family and friends, just a friendly suggestion

Ill second the system probably needs to be depressurized. I always pull the trigger as i am starting my machine
