Utility paint marks bid

This is an entire community covered in utility markers + flags. The HOA wants them all gone and the utility company is paying for it. There are thousands of flags and thousands of paint marks on the sidewalks and road. I know my numbers, I know how long its going to take us to do, I just don’t know how to word this $15,000-$20,000 estimate. Im considering just charging by the hour?

Doubt they’d go for by the hour. If you know your numbers and how to do, submit your bid just like any other job.

Thanks for the reply! With what verbiage though? Im pricing this at $500/hr as my costs are going be higher than normal but I cannot price it by sqft, theyre like one inch by 6-18 inch lines you know? Id like to price it by linear ft but thats completely impractical to even attempt to figure out how many feet of paint there is scattered throughout this community😂

I have never priced anything by the sq ft or by the hour on a bid. I simply write that I’m going to clean yada yada for x amount.
