Using a Surface Cleaner on a Roof

So an hoa called me. The residents are older and do not want chemicals used on roofs.I informed her this is not possible. So she ask about surface cleaning the roofs.I told her if someone came to clean roofs With a surface cleaner send them packing. told her I as far as I knew they is no chemical free cleaning. I told her properly?

We aren’t sure if you did or not
Can’t figure out what you are trying to say. How did you go from talking about surface cleaning to roof? You can clean concrete all day long without chemicals of it isn’t greasy or tannic stained

She ask if you could surface clean the roof is what I meant.

Oh wow been a long day I left something out I’m gonna edit…

@Innocentbystander I edited the post. I’ve had a heck of a day and guess my brain wasn’t functioning properly.

Your right there wrong…that’s the end of the argument

Sorry I’m a Andrew Wilkow fan lol

Your in South Florida. That’s how it’s done down there. Yearly roof cleaning with a surface cleaner and hot water ownes that market. It doesn’t make it rite but it is what it is. That’s why I don’t go that far south.

I’ve seen that on tile roofs but are they doing it on asphalt shingles too?

On shingle they use a 65degree nozzle at about 1000 psi . With a strong degreaser . It terrible for the roof but it’s done anyway. It’s a money thing mainly. Labor is near free down there because it’s flooded with illegal immigrants. There is a guy down there that spends $15000 a month in mailers like valpak for $99 roof cleaning he keeps several rigs busy year round.
That market is tough on soft wash guys
