USAA Insurance

My father in law owns a body shop and said they provide the best insurance out there for vehicles. He knows how car insurers screw their customers and some make it difficult for the body shops and USAA doesn’t.

Farmers is one of the other companies I was going to call.

I guess it’s different options for different states. They were willing to do it in Missouri. And the policy even seemed pretty friendly regarding what I could do/not do.

Someone from your insurance should call this guy… dude if your on this page and you read this… get your surface cleaner off these roofs before you hurt yourself!

Update on insurance rate hunt. Signed up with USAA and then spent about 2 hours on the phone with them. The net result was they were about $300/year more on my car insurance and about $100 less on my homeowners than with Liberty Mutual.

So talked with another independent agency who represents every major company you can think of and when I told her about my USAA quote, she passed. Said none of the companies rarely, if ever, beat USAA rates. Unfortunately, Farmers doesn’t write in this state. So looks like I’m staying put.

Yeah on the hard to beat usaa rates. If you do happen to find a cheaper rate than Usaa and go with the other, your rates will go up passed usaa eventually, and fairly quickly imho.

Well, that’s odd they wouldn’t insure you as they offered to insure me. Scratching my head on that one since we’re both in Missouri.

I’d follow-up with them. USAA prides itself on customer service. Maybe the email went in spam or your phone call got lost in the mix? That’s odd. I had a quote while I was on the phone with them. They gave it right then and there. No wait.

We have USAA for vehicles, home and other stuff. Customer service is top notch.

Had a pipe break several years ago. They sent a remediation company that made us feel uncomfortable (when moving boxes in the basement, “Hey do you still need this?”) . We let them know and they sent out another company altogether; no questions asked.

They also gave us a price break when we had the roof replaced too.
