Unfinished wood cleaning chemicals - Preferences

I recently cleaned a fence with some F10 with some pretty good results mixed at 5oz per gallon. I ordered some DSR-49 just to test out on the next job. The two products are similar in most ways but do have a bit of a difference according to the SDS. I’ll update here as to how the DSR goes. I’m just curious as to everyone’s preferences for cleaning wood. What chemicals do you use and at what concentrations?

Oxalic acid plus surfactant.

SH, sometimes with a little hydroxide added. EVERY wood job is different. There is no set formula. Depends on the wood, how old/or dirty it is, etc. Also depends on what are you going to do with it after you clean it. May need to neutralize with citric or oxalic after cleaning if using a strong mix.

If wood is unfinished, most likely don’t want to use hydroxide unless it’s in really bad shape.
