Turn off the Ignition or the gas. which do you do?

So how do you shut your rig down?
Turn off the gas and clean until it shuts off?
Or
Kill the ignition while holding the wand trigger waiting for the dreaded backfire?

just shut off engine.

Throttle down and then kill it.

If I’m not going to be running the engine for a couple weeks, I’ll turn off the gas and let the carb run dry.
