Turbo nozzle size

So my beloved $270 turbo nozzle disappeared and now I need to replace it. The local Cwc Supply, close enough to me that I get one day shipping from, has a Suttner rated at 5800 psi and has an orfice size option of 8 or 10 but not 9. Technically my machine is a 7.8 gallon per minute and the closest orifice size is still 9.0. Given that it’s a little bit under 8 gallons per minute and the purpose of the turbo nozzle is to blast stuff away as best as possible, would it hurt to get a size 8.0 turbo nozzle? It should increase the pressure a little bit except for I don’t know if it’s going to be so much smaller that it would just be a waste of water going back through the bypass.

I would match it up to your surface cleaner nozzles. Then everything looks uniform. JMO. Don’t know what orfices your running on your sc? But it probably adds up to 10.

Them are some good ones. Bought two new ones last year and haven’t had to rebuild them. Still going strong. Buy a couple rebuild kits there easy to rebuild.

Actually running 4 3.5’s for a size 14. I don’t need that much pressure and honestly the 2.5’s had same results. Would an 8 be too small though?

I would go with the 10. I run four 2.5s on mine most of the time. But I don’t bypass the injector unless I’m doing a bunch of curbs or flatwork.

PT carries 9’s and they get it to you pretty fast typically

Thanks everyone. I found a size 9 at pwmall per someone’s post that disappeared. I got the 357 instead of the 457. It was half the price and since I’m only at 3000 psi I don’t need it. The first one I have was the 457 but I liked it because it felt really durable but it doesn’t matter if it just gets lost lol. The price was considerably cheaper than Powerwashstore.
