Uhhhh… We’re all IN the pressure washing field here in this forum.
It’s the Pressure Washing Resource Association (PWRA). Here you can read all about this industry, learn the proper way to clean, what tools, and equipment to use and where to get them.

I suggest you read this website every day.

Why are you posting this in 3 different places on this site. You’ve spent 26 minutes on this site. We need picture of location, what equipment you have to work with, experience level, etc.

The red tip that came with your Ryobi is made to get out oil and grease stains from concrete. Try that at the gas station. After you’re done cleaning use a scrub brush to scrub out the clean lines you will leave. If they do not come out right away try some pine sol. That should do the trick.

Pine sol and gain are the only chemicals I carry … honestly what else would you even need

Absolutely, and I always care some bar soap. If I ever run out of gain, ill just scrub the group with some dove bar soap. Can get a little slippery so I recommend some rubber gloves. But it always gets the job done

I do wood restoration almost exclusively and I have no idea what you are doing or have done here. I can’t even be sarcastic.

Make sure to work free gas for the job into the deal. Usually when doing gas stations, you can negotiate that into the contract. Take the gas cap off of your pressure washer and put the nozzle from the gas pump in and set it to the slowest automatic fill setting. Secure it in place with spring clips (for safety) and you’re good to go. This will save a huge amount of time because you won’t have to stop and refill the tank.

Oh man oh man… This guy needs serious help, not jokes.

Sir, keep reading the forum, use the search bar atop, type in key words like gas station, hot water, and degreaser.

You have to rent a unit to use hot water, unless you have one.

Figure that cost and you’ll probably be working all night

Yeah. It took exactly one overnight at a gas station before I retired from gas stations forever.

Unless… we get one local chain with 90 locations…

Why was that, Rowdy?

A month ago, a guy approached me about 130 Shell stations that they wanted done in MA and NH. I think he got scared off by my blind bid of around 1K per location. Said they have a company doing some of them for $300. But he was impressed by the surface cleaner and reclaim, which is what drew him over to me in the first place. Haven’t heard from him since.:face_with_raised_eyebrow::roll_eyes:

But said they prefer work to start after 9 pm.

It was a long night, harder to clean than I ever suspected, it was for $300 ironically.

I just did my last two chick fil A’s yesterday and not renewing the contract. The money is better on residential than the restaurants and restaurants or gas stations are always overnight or on Sunday.

After the first of the year I may stop doing overnights on strip malls too. That ones tougher because the money ranges anywhere from $1200-1600 a night.

It’s interesting working in an area of the country where power washing contractors are few and far between. The Wendy’s never even hinted at me coming at night and they’ve been done during the day from the getgo. Guess they don’t know any better.

But funny thing is, I was finishing up a window clean at around 8pm last week and thought, “Wow. This would be a great time to PW. No traffic whatsoever.”

The commercial accounts pay when you can get them on biweekly or weekly service. No marketing and schedule fills almost instantly. Plus for sidewalk, all that is needed is the hot water. Almost feels like mowing lawns for buckfifty a pop.
