Headlock?
Haha, fat fingers yo!
Holy ■■■■, 2k+ posts in under 10 months. I still enjoy going back to read it from the beginning. And I read the PM’s me and @Hotshot had going back and forth. I can’t believe I’m still doing this with how naive I was to the whole fleet washing business and technique. But I enjoy it and it gives me a little bread. I really want to ramp it up this year though, I just gotta figure out how to show these fleet managers and terminal managers the guys they are using suck compared to me
You can do it amigo! Now go get em!
I enjoy 4WD ACTION as well on YouTube it’s the kind of stuff I used to do when I had time.
I have no clue how I came across that channel but I watched a lot of his videos. It’s amazing how many people drive mini vans and sedans out in those conditions
That’s the goal! Really going to go out there and put in a lot of demos this spring. I know I priced myself out of a lot of bids when I first started but now that I’m getting the hang of things I feel like I can price it accordingly. I’m still going to shoot for my $125-$175 an hour goal. And I really want to get into some day cabs for LTL companies this year. They look like ■■■■ here and I am their answer, they just don’t know it yet. One company has a guy that just sprays water and runs a brush over them and walks away at $20 a day cab, monthly. I told one of do theirs at $35 a month and $20 biweekly. Going to do. Demo once the weather gets halfway decent
Crap they had me distracted in that other thread I was going to swoop in a upload a poop pic for the 2k
Search for Gabe Mercado, I can’t remember his YouTube channel but I used to rock crawl with him. He has some nice videos. I’ll try to find a link…
Crawl 5280 on YouTube
What a lot of guys do with Avys is put some of the thin styrofoam insulation like on a house in there, can keep a case of beer cold all day in there. Mine has drains in bottom of.
I gave you some advice way back about not touching monthly accounts and here is some more do not touch LTL
I know it’s a long ways but you really should hit up old Mr. Goestobedat11pm @dperez and check out his system and how he washes. I bet you learn something
Yeah, definitely purpose built touring machines, nothing out of the show room would last an hour in those conditions.
I just got that 2 step gun working man, definitely an upgrade. Spray it on then just a real honest to goodness rinse, no wanding every square inch 10" away if that makes sence to you. aint that good at it yet, using a butt ton of soap, but once I have some advice and get it dialed in I’ll call ya buddy, pinky swear, spent $425 on the whole deal plus this new expandable sleeve stuff that @Firefighter4hire and @dperez found me to wrap the hoses.
Quit pissing on my parade! Haha
I’m just trying to build up the clientele so I can go into some of these big companies and say I wash for XYZ and ABC, nationally known companies.
Ok I’ll be around in 2021 so you can tell me if you’d do it again for 2022 bet you a dollar you won’t
That’s another goal of mine this year. I have some lofty goals in my 2nd year.
More business
2 step gun
2 or more machines
Box Van, wrapped
An employee or 2
Can’t wait till January of next year to see where I’m at
Using more soap than downstreaming?
I hope to God you’re wrong, lol
