Truck washing (Soaps, Tips and Tricks)

For sure it’s just a few $3 hydraulic fittings a mini 3 way ball valve and good ol China 1/4" poly braided vinyl hose

The more I look at it the more I see that 3/8 ball valve moving water in different directions to incorporate soap then move it the other way for rinsing. If you have the 3/8 valve vertical it let’s water in the loop and the top straight part were the injector is. Turn it horizontal and it only let’s water shot straight across to stop the venturi effect and rinse.
Maybe. Lol

So yeah I’m talking about the two step gun and I think you’re talking about the injector bypass from pressure tek

So $50 for 200’ of high pressure poly. Gawley. And another $110 for high pressure 3/8 hose. Then the vac line can’t be very expensive.
What a joke. But knowledge is key I gather. And all the knowledge hangs off the end of that gun then.

Nah , I’m also talking about the 2 step gun , I was just comparing it to the bypass for @Greenman , which I was totally wrong , Sorry @Greenman. I thought it was working like the DS injector bypass , that’s my bad.

$52.77 and tax would get you 328’ of the 1/4" braided poly

Type in 2 step gun up top and a search comes up involving @pressureguy and squids about a video on the YouTube, that guy got his vac hose from home Depot in 50’ lengths and the locking collar.
But what baffles me on his set up was that he had a trombone nozzle that switched it to low pressure for DS. So that means this one up top is not the same I’m thinking of the one on the video, the YouTube one is just low pressure DS, high pressure rinse.

The downstream injector they are using has a 1/4" npt intlet for the mini 3 way ball valve. I don’t have a bunch on injectors sitting around but it’s my understanding that are not usually threaded pipe thread on the inlet

The gun I bought came with a reel that rolls up the vacuum hose and chem lines and has the lines ran through the side of the reel so you just unroll it and use m22 screw-on connectors to attach the chem lines. Now I don’t ever roll it up anymore but the thought was there lol

Glad you’re here @pressureguy ! Is that your gun up above like 60 posts ?

But the gun itself is basically the same as yours? And how does it work?

Are you sure?

That’s the gun I use but it’s not “my gun”, if you catch what I mean

He ment that he wasn’t a salesman for the PWS and it was encased in vacuum line ,not vacuum packed

Yeah. You just flip the ball valve to the side and then use the 3-way to pick acid or soap, then put the 3-way in the middle and flip the ball valve down to bypass

Yeah ,I miss spoke, my bad. So that all there is to it ? Just that gun and lines to chems and a reel if you want it ?
