Truck washing (Soaps, Tips and Tricks)

@deprez I chatted with biocleen. They have a wide array of options. Its a $4100 puchase to start. They give to two guns and 9 drums total of chems.
The $4100 Breakdown:
$3200 for two guns(every thing is controlled from gun)
$900 for chems

You have to purchase a minimum of 5k in soap yearly from them.

They give you a territory where there are no ther bioclean operators.

The also recommend that you ren a pump with 8gpm

I like it! That’s the face that screams hard work and slight constipation all at the same time!

But damn warn a guy I wasn’t expecting to see that ugly mug so large…

Oh oh you gotta do it sarge, 4 finger point and all! Just wear a gopro and post it here!

So I’m assuming 2 step gun ? @Kleen @GeorgeNicholson

@Hotshot yup a 2 step gun… but dam… thats expensive

Hydrochem wants $2000 for 1 two step set up.

What’s so special about these 2 step guns that make them so expensive?

@marinegrunt not sure… i think its because it controls everything from the gun

Don’t you just basically turn a valve that’s located at the gun to switch soaps? I just don’t get why what seems like a simple system would cost so much. I could understand charging that much if all the valves were voice activated or maybe each one came with a robot that washed the truck for you.

@marinegrunt… i know its super expensive. I am trying to figure out how to make 1

Top secret hush hush stuff. Try to find a picture of it online, not going to happen. The price tag is to buy the “secret” not the gun

So what does a typical tractor like that pay ? Took what 5, minutes for 1 side ,so 10 minutes total ?

I’m still a few minutes faster and with less chemical cost Yee Haw. Depending on location and quantity you’re looking at $14-$26 for a conventional tractor with no sleeper aka day cab

They probably make you sign a contract that requires you to either buy that amount or pay an “opt out early fee” which is the same amount of money that you would’ve given them for their soaps. I don’t think I’d want to do business with a place like that. The way I see it is if their soaps are really that great they shouldn’t have to force you to buy anything. It makes me think of that guy that kept bugging you and wouldn’t even send you a 5 gallon pail to try. Just like you said, if someone has faith in their product they wouldn’t have any problem sending a sample. If it was good stuff a 5 gallon pail would eventually make him thousands of dollars off of you. If I made a soap that I thought was great I’d be giving samples away like crazy. If I made a crappy soap I’d be trying to sell every last bit I had to everybody to recoup costs…lol. Not really but that’s probably what he’s trying to do.

They better wash a crap ton then. I just can’t see paying that price for that heavy gun to be that slow. We’re doing full size 379 pete tractors all chromed and polished out with 72" stand up sleepers, with SS headache racks and full size fenders and boxes in 25 minutes, 1 machine,1 guy . That includes lifting hood and doing every grease fitting, inside hood, motor, oil pan etc. By the time I get the hood down and wash that and front bumper, grill and start laying my #1 down on one side my other machine and guy has the trailer completely done, And to boot we hand brush every rim and 2 step . I just don’t understand why so much time for so little profit.

I just don’t understand it. If I BUY the gun then I shouldn’t be forced to use anything. It’s like buying a truck and you have to use their bed liner instead of Rhino or LineX and then any other upgrade has to go thru their service department.

Now if they were giving me the gun to use while I buy x amount of ssoap from them then I can see it.
