I am getting ready to put my pressure washer together in a couple weeks and have ran into a problem. I am putting the pressure washer in the bed of my truck and if I put a tank in there with it I will be cramped for space. At this time I dont see much use for a tank but would like to have one just in case. If I put a tank on a trailer for the times that I will need it, how will I get the water from the trailer to the machine since it will be lower than the truck?
There are many different types of tanks you can purchase. You can try looking at one that is more vertical. I only carry a 35g on my trailer currently. When I get my truck and move everything to the bed, i am going to upgrade to a slender rectangle shaped 100g. put it close to front and equipment behind it. I wouldn’t worry about tank being below pump. weight of water will push it out, and the pump, once primed will pull it through anyway.
