I’ve been having trouble getting the baked-in algae and dirt off this part of the gutter…
The rest just melts off and rinses fine but that one flat part gives me fits. It usually takes three applications and a good hit from my HP 00 tip to finally knock it off.
I’ve found it’s been saving me some time and chemical to just pull out the pole and brush and do a quick swipe or two, after they’ve gotten a good soaping
To be honest and most people are gonna laugh (but it works) is to apply your sh as many times as you want and then i use a blue tip from a 2 story kit i bought years ago. It shots a very strong spray and its enough to remove the junk. Only thing is it mists so much and do not get it near wood or painted wood. Its like a turbo nozzle but it doesnt oscilate so you can potentially damage stuff. Im sure theres a tip you could get that do the same thing but with less misting
I usually hit the gutters with the HW mix and then hit them with my high rinse tip. Then re apply the mix a second time and that second round usually takes care of that top part. Even at 3 stories. 4 gpm and hitting 3 stories with the quad rod. Can’t be a windy day though or your screwed
They really are the same thing but some benefits that I can think of are easier to spot in grass if it drops, the mold is plastic so there isn’t any rusting/breaking off like a Jrod can. The plastic is actually super sturdy but just bendable enough to pop out the tips so you can swap it out if you want.
Yes mike. His number is 330 799 1919. How it was explained to me was with j rods when they rust out the whole thing is trash… with Mike’s they are interchangeable he sells the set up for 49 bucks
