Rent a hot water machine if you don’t have one. It just melts right off. You can add in a degreaser as well prior to starting.

I’ve used heat and degreaser. I let the degreaser dwell about 20 minutes.

Just use your black soap tip it will turn it to steam. If you have a 12v machine and idle down you may not get complete combustion in burner chamber.

Bingo,12v systems don’t like it and it builds up premature soot in your coil at low rpm

Thanks for the info. I did not realize that. Ive never ran into a problem but it’s a fairly new machine.

Try not to do it with a black plastic wing tip the plastic will come off. If you have been doing that regularly make sure you run that thing wide open you dont want the soot to sit on the coil. Also make sure you cool the coil down before driving to the next job.

So here’s the update on the tree sap , and a big heads up . Tree sap penetrates deep in the concrete, was able to take off the top layer . Client was happy that it wasn’t sticky and slippery. Here’s a pic, I didnt wait till it dried up . Looked better in person , but remember to set the right expectations

What kind of tree does that. I’d like to know so i can look out for them in the future. We have a lot of pecan trees here but they dont do that kind of sap drop

I hate to say it, but I knew it!

Those organic stains can be a pain! I’ve come across some berry trees? I forget the exact name but nothing will face the stain on concrete, it just fades a bit
