Has anyone worked with travertine tile as pool decking before? I wouldn’t touch pool decking but because he said tile, I went to check it out anyway. Out of all the research I’ve been doing on travertine, it’s been hit or miss. Some people said to use cleaners that others said to not use on travertine. Some said low power wash is ok, some said don’t touch it with anything other than a mop. The guy’s deck had some lower settled areas (where furniture had been placed) where most of the stains were, which I’m guessing just being saturated from accumulated water under the stone. I don’t know how the tile was laid and what they used as a base for it. I guess I’m seeing if anyone has personally worked with it and can offer their experience so I have a better idea of whether I want to walk down that road.
I’ve never had a deal with it, but I know pink flamingo on YouTube has some videos on it

As always pics help. We clean it pretty regularly. Can either softwash it or use surface cleaner, keep it 2000 psi or slightly lower.
