Brodie, It’s funny that was your choice to listen to. I’ve been binge watching Turn: Washington’s Spies on NetFlix all weekend.
So, I mounted the little Harbor Frieght vise and I love it!!
Great little handy tool and it sits at the right height for work.
Great little tool for the money. Recommend it for site repairs.
What are some of the uses for the vice? Hose fittings, guns, mostly those things?
fittings, couplers, third hand, hammering on the little anvil, filing, cutting, a ton of stuff, it is actually better than my little vise on my shop workbench, This vise will not clamp to angle iron, so I removed the clamp and bolted it to some heavy flat steel. I have no welding equipment, wish I did, but the 1/2" bolts worked fine…that flat steel is heavier than the angle the trailer uses. The way I mounted it it is very sturdy.
