Trailer suggestions

I look at trucks as dedicated pieces of machinery from bumper to bumper for the sole purpose of being out there and working, once the job is done they are parked up much like a hose is coiled up at the end of every job until the next one. I like to feel like I’m disconnected from work outside of working hours and don’t want to be anywhere near a work truck or smell bleach on my time off. If I’m servicing the pumps and motors the vehicle also gets a bit of attention, it’s all one big machine on wheels to me.

Well, that’s where we differ. I’m mostly a window cleaner, it’s a multi-purpose vehicle.:+1:

All the pressure washing stuff is in the trailer. No bleach smell in the van.

I’m just mildly amused by the objection to my setup, it’s like trying to explain the Tour de France to a lifelong Harley rider.:flushed:

I was under the impression that you started out as a window cleaner and now it’s a proper pressure washing business. You never talk about window cleaning only striping :face_with_hand_over_mouth::face_with_hand_over_mouth:. Only kidding

Oh and speaking of ice cream, tell you what those ice cream trucks make a ton of money, probably more than everything I do twice over. I’d totally rock that pink trailer if I made $150k a year.

I went to a 6x12 from my tiny 5x6 this year when I added power washing this year. It is amazing having the space for everything in my trailer. Built a box that I slide my stacks into and have my WFP filters mounted on it. Just added shelves in my v nose for miscellaneous chems, buckets, extra hose, etc. Buffer and SH tanks over the axle (slightly forward).

My point, if you can pull a bit bigger, I think you will like it.

5x10 is probably my max. Lots of tight squeezes around here, a few close calls with the 5x8.

You will definitely enjoy the side door. I really like having a couple of my reels curbside.

I have a 5x10 open trailer, I have all that I need on there, including roof pump system. I usually don’t carry much water, maybe 75 or so gallons. I have run out of space though.

Is that a 225gallon tank?

Yes it is.

Where are you all parking these rigs? My driveway is only about 35’.

Very nice :+1: . What’s that WCR sticker is that like a house keeping forum or something?

At my house. You just have to get to be known as the crazy veteran who has ptsd and a heck of a lot of guns and nobody will mess with it.

We gotta get some lunch sometime, swap stories and experience.

That’s a sweet setup Donny. I like the small footprint trailer.

Thanks Rick, it’s been effective and efficient for me.

You might have the cleanest trailer in terms of both cleanliness & order I’ve ever seen haha.

Can you share more pictures? I’m curious how you have your plumbing set up along with your reels etc.

No problem, when I get in from work.
