Trailer heater

For some reason I am unable to use the search feature with my moble device since the site design changed.

I have seen it on a post in here before. What DC heater do you guys recommend to run in your trailer for those cold nights? Unfortunately I have to store my trailer outside.

I don’t know if I’d want a heater in a trailer filled with machines that emit gasoline vapors.

You can use something like this. They are made to be stuck to an oil pan. But you can stick it to your pump. And it just plugs into a 120v outlet.

A Radiator Heater. That’s what I used in my enclosed trailer.

Interesting. I will need to run it off a 12v battery. Do you have it set up that way?

100 watt light bulb next to pump.

Like maybe the service bulbs, because 1 drop off water and a regular bulb goes boom.

That’s going to be hard to do. You will probably need a bank of batteries to get more than 4 or 5 hours with a 110v heater and an inverter

What you could have is one of them battery jump boxes and have it charging. Then run a 12 volt pipe heaters off it. If you want the pipes not to freeze. Also drain all water out of the pipes and unloader. That’s what happened to mine this year. I had just a little water left in the unloader it busted on me. So I had to get a new one.

I think I’d he could have it charging he would need to use a battery, but maybe I’m missing something

As insurance I’ll have heat tape plugged in 20 or 30 feet along with radiator heat 110 v after it’s winterized
And battery on a tender.
