Over the years my standing line has been to put my hands on my hips, say " woman, because I’m 40(or whatever age) years old and I’m the man". Naturally she rolls her eyes and ignores me. Youngest was 4 years old at Walmart. Mom says it’s time to leave the toy section. He says he isn’t leaving. Yep, he put his hands on his hips and yelled in his best redneck Walmart voice, “woman, I’m 4 years old and I’m the man”.

I got pretty lucky with mine. We have always been a single income (me working) family. She doesn’t complain at all about work purchases. After she used the hot water on that commercial job she told me to get one ordered for the 8.
I spent 80k this past winter on salt, plows, spreaders and trucks and she never said a word! I guess if I had spent that on hunting equipment I’d be in a van down by the river though…

She’s never said anything about purchases. But I’ve never bought work related stuff that I didn’t need. Guns and toys come out of my allowance or selling grills or other stuff I put together in the winter. This survival gear venture and our sponsors funds a lot of hobbies.

As we speak she’s clearing off my coffee table that I’ve had for 7 years. She’s sick of it and hauling it off. I started playing “say goodbye” by Bon Jovi and she rolled her eyes at me…
I didn’t want to get rid of it. But I guess she wears the pants when I cross the threshold of the house door.

We have upwards of $30k in freebies for doing promos, demos and reviews. My brother handles all that and the contracts. Plus they give us a lot of stuff to give away. Just hit 100k followers on Instagram. Brother sold one of the accounts for $11k. I never even knew that was a possibility. I’ve made about three posts on Instagram and lost my password when I got a new phone. Its mainly his deal. I just bankroll where needed and here lots of free stuff for or cabin.

Got one of the new micro spypoints about 2 weeks ago… so far so good and very impressed, even more so at $139. Havent had chance to get it to the farm yet, but Highly recommend with it being around the house.
