Trailer Build 2 - For those of you still working on your trailers

Did you have to replace the barbs??

No they came with it, but I keep spares. I assume you’re talking about the barbs going into the pump or accumulator.

what kind of accumulator do you have?

It’s a Flojet

@Racer do you cover up your trailer or park it in a garage ? Is it ok to have everything get rained on?

Normally leave it in shop unless I get in late and going back out first thing next am and don’t feel like dropping it off, about 7-8 min from house. Mine gets rained on all the time. This time of year with thunderstorms somethings several times per day. Plus I rinse mine off every day at end of day anyway.

Thanks @Racer . Have a blessed day

Any one from India in this forum

I am from India and planning to start pressure washing business. I am just completed my truck base, suggestions are welcome.

Attach a motor and steering wheel and maybe chuck a couple of sheets of plywood on tray so your equipment doesn’t fall straight thru onto ground. Good to go mate

Another axle and set of wheels will improve ride and handling too.

Thanks for your information

No worries, if you want some good advice on layout and equipment you could try and give us a short description of what you are intending to clean and maybe a budget .
Or check out the magnifying glass symbol above if u prefer to do your own research.

Yes Aussie, I am an AMC contractor for Gas stations in the state of the India, as a part of the contract, needs to cleaning Canopy false ceiling and signages once in 3 months. At present we use low pressure set up like this VID 20180110 WA0008 - YouTube
Now I want to become professional with the help of the friends like you. Please suggest what kind of machine required ( GPM & PSI) .
With Regards,

I watched the YouTube link u provided but didnt get a clear look at the machine however by the amount of water coming out it looks like you may benefit from a larger pump.
My setups range from 15 , 21 and 30 litres per minute at 3000 -3500psi.
My 15lpm hardly gets used anymore as it cannot clean or rinse as effectively on most of my jobs, however it is good for areas where excess water is a problem or a portable unit is required.
I’m my experience it is rare that I need more than 3000psi for cleaning purposes it is the increase of lpm/gpm that does the work.
Do you feel your situation calls for more water delivery?
Are you familiar with downstream injection of chemicals?
Can u borrow or hire a larger machine to assess your requirements?
I’m not the most qualified here to provide advise but I will do my best to steer you in the right direction.

It is just a car washer (17 lpm/1500psi) without unloader and bye pass arrangements, we tried it for demo. Further those false ceilings not cleaned for at least 5 years. False ceiling is made of aluminum powder coated. Height of the ceiling is 18’ from Ground level. Someone from the Pressure washing machine manufacturer suggest that 17lpm/350 Bar(4.5 GPM/5000psi) is suitable for this job without using ladder. The pressure is adjustable . Expect our forum comments.

Ok you should definitely explore search function to get a basic understanding of what is suitable for your purposes. If you do a bit of research u will find what you need and learn a lot along the way.
