That’s why I hang my hat in Tennessee.

It always took me 7 hours to mow & run the weedeater around here. Last year I got backed up & found a dude that does it for $75 a whack. I sold my Cub Cadet after that. I’m a little surprised you high-rollers are still finding time to cut your own grass but maybe that’s where the extra GPM’s come in handy.

Fired up the Toro 30” Timemaster yesterday for the first time this year. Meant to mow the lawn three weeks ago but fortunately business had been good. Also took the family to the USAF Thunderbirds Air Show Saturday morning/afternoon so I knew I’d have the evening free. Mowed, edged, string trimmed and all before it got dark out.

I like to mow. It’s my time to just relax and jam to music and have a cold beer. I don’t know how much it would cost to have someone else do it. My fenced-in yard area is about an acre and a half.

Not too bad at all. It was a one owner and came with all the paperwork. Wouldn’t start when I went to look at it so I got a pretty good deal. Was just a broken wire coming off the alternator. Two minute fix and it was up and rolling.

With a quick buff that thing would look brand new. It’s in very good shape. How many hours?

662 hours when I parked it yesterday.

Nice find, can’t really go wrong with diesel on equipment.

You probably already know this, but I’ll say it just to be sure - I’d check the bearings, belt, and blades on any mower. Disconnect that belt and give it a spin, if you hear any noise replace the bearings and give it some grease. Make sure the blades are even as some people seem to oversharpen one side making it less wide which will cause vibrations and can cause damage at high rpms over time. IF the belt is nicked just replace it with a kevlar one (if you can get it). I replace belts often, the belt for my RFM is about 120.

I had someone cut my back 6 acres before when I was gutting the farmhouse and working full time, they wanted 300 if they only came every 4-5 weeks (because it got high).
