Tombstone dying to be washed

Best way to clean a (granite?) tombstone without risking damage? Client would like the old paint removed as well. Just pressure? IMG_6875

Thanks

Scroll down a few posts and he says how he cleaned them.

What!?!?!?

Pressureguy posted that awhile back. I already feel like I’m cursed enough so the last thing I need to be doing is tromping all over graves…lol

Prosoco Heavy duty paint stripper. Wet stone, brush on product. Let dwell for 30ish minutes, keep wet. Brush more. Rinse thoroughly.

Thanks!

IMHO you honored the dead by maintaining their memorial markers. Genealogy groups like DAR and SAR often clean and/or restore headstones of veterans of any era. Many of those would be unreadable and the information on the person lost without that maintenance. So much family history in those markers.
