To Rinse a drive way

United hose is whatever you ask for. They make it when you order. I get 247 foot sections with swivel on one end. That allows for 3 foot whip hose. They send 250 anyway lol. Steve is a good guy there

Racer already made a video that shows how the ball valve and swivel connect, it’s posted above in this thread. IB suggests you swap the end that plugs into the gun from a female QC to a male plug, but other than that, the video shows how to set it up.

Yeah, I thought about it, reread, and figured it out. But I don’t see a vid from racer. @Fatdaddy posted that. If that’s the video you’re meaning.

Guys, either way will work fine. I like the water action creating more froth when just using my ball valve. Think the original theory to turn it goes back to the fact that male plugs are cheap compared to females. So with female on ball valve all your attachments have the cheaper male plug. If your ball valve has male plug then you’re going to be buying a lot more female QDC, thus spending more dollars.

The other reason I like is that as I get older it’s easier to grasp the ball valve and just pull the collar on the QDC back than fighting with sometimes not so good handholes on your various wands, nozzles, whatever. The results of various wrist and hand injuries over the years.

Fatdaddy posted it, but racer is the person that made it.

Oh, ok. Didn’t notice that.

the best way I found to rinse the driveway is if you divide it into sections, so SC a 16’ x 10’ section (more or less), then rinse it, then do another section, then rinse it. Basically it doesnt give the dirty water a chance to dry up into the pores. You can divide the driveway into two or four sections
