Now that I have got my new washer all set up…
I’m thinking man another $1,000 I could have got a enclosed trailer
So has anybody made a roof over their trailer??
I work in a Steel Mill the last 35 years, So many welders out there that owe me favors… i wish somebody would have said… hey butt hole just get a enclosed trailer u can lock it up…
you tube don’t show nothing…
Just run 4-6 piece’s of 1 1/2" square tubing up(depending on length of trailer) and run rafters out of 1" square tubing. Then lay the tin, or screw 1x4 wood slats to screw the tin to. Easy Peasy
The hard part is going to be hooking up a few miles of extension cord and keeping it plugged in at the shop, with stripped wires attached to the tin while driving down the road.
Honestly I’d just build a carport or lean to at your place and park under it. Tin roof will keep the heat from dissipating as quickly and will be like a sail driving down the road. Maybe not.
Before I had a shop to park in I had nylon covers for my equipment. If I remember right the cover for a BBQ smoker was a nearly perfect fit for about $40. Another option is to have a boat cover shop make you a cover for your trailer.
The tin roof shouldn’t be a problem at all. There are hundred or trailer’s set up like that around here. Not for pressure washing but for a cool down trailer that they pull to oilfield location’s. I’ve pulled a few of them and I never had any problem with swaying or uplift.
Alex I like that just $280 I got a shop but got so many toys stuff Oliver Tractor, Kubota Mowers always in an out of it…
I just might get that, Thank you for that
i got to sell my old one get it out of here find a new home out of the way…
