Can someone tell me how to tighten the drag on an electric Titan reel. The reel jumps when I’m washing causing the hose to come loose on the reel. It didn’t do this when the reel was new so I’m hoping i can correct it.
Never really had an issue with our Titan electrics like that. Not sure, maybe a bungee or something?

LOL, mine does it about 50% of the time. Some days it does, and others it doesn’t. But we just use one of those rubber twist ties, loop around hose and front bottom bar of reel and twist it. Works. One of my early mentors always just used one of those spring load plastic hand clamps and clamped it down to trailer rail. It worked well too.

Worn manifold/spindle bearings would have increased the drag so must be the broken in chain??? You can loosen the motor, adjust chain tension and take the slack out of it, maybe that will net you some more resistance???
