Thoughts on equipment

Just picked up a Hotsy hot water unit with a trailer 325 gallon tank 2 hotsy hose reels and 200’ of hose with a Honda gx390. Just curious on yalls thoughts about the setup

Asking after the fact wont help you much. If it makes you money then its a good set up.

I will say, seeing as your running a gx390 your probably not running anything higher than 5.5gpm and having a 325 gallon buffer tank is just a waste of space UNLESS you carry water to jobs.

Yeah I hear yeah I happened to run across the body who is selling it to me supercheap so I got it off of him just wanting to know if Hotsy was a quality hot machine and maybe some info and if anyone knew much about hotsy machines that I might need to know

Hotsy is a decent brand machine I’d ditch that big of a water tank as it will just take up space you wont need it with a 4gpm machine

I have a 4gpm and use 100g buffer and rarely ever need it.

So I shouldn’t have an issue pulling water from house? Ok cool any suggestions on 100gal tanks or are they all the same?

Run a water test on a few houses and see what your area provides but you should be good. Take a 5 gallon bucket and turn the water on and time how long it takes to fill that bucket. This will give you the average GPM the houses are putting off in your area.

My 100g tank was from northern tool but get on craigslist and see if you can find anything cheap in the area.
