Client wants this cleaned. He says it appeared after the painter heavily calked the wood seams. But does this look more like rust/oxidation? Or perhaps it’s a drain point for the wood stain/paint?
I’ve read through a bunch of previous posts and if it’s rust, the solution could be F9, oneRestore, CLR, Good Off and/or muriatic acid.
What are your thoughts?
