The upside of downtime

While I wish it were April for obvious reasons, one of the upsides of downtime are moments like these

Well thank you!

Wanna sell that remington 700? I miss when they made them with wood stocks. Nice scope too. Cant wait till my sons old enough to shoot a red rider. Many memories with those as a kid. Even more with a homemade slingshot.

Yes I will sell, funny you asked. I wanna put a 338 together this year so Im unloading it (see what I did there?) But you can buy them. Rem 700 cdl. Bdl have wood too. This ones a shooter though! 30-06 and likes the 180 grainers. Great do-all gun.

The red riders are awesome. Kids just love em.

Taking the grandkids to the ranch today, bow and arrows and Red Ryder are all ready to go!!!

Lol, 2 eggs over easy covered with wilted fresh spinach and sauteed onion, sun dried tomato, whole garlic cloves and avocado. Real food

Eggs and sun dries tomatoes are tasty

Y’all enjoy the downtime! I’m drowning in upfits for the winter… I have 13 days off work to catch up though!

Lol rabbits dont eat eggs…

Most of what is rolling off of remingtons line now a days is garbage. At least it was a year ago when I was in ffl. Rifles, shotguns, and pistols… just bad.
Stick with the old good stuff

True. Its a crapshoot. Same can be said for any “off the line” manufacturers. Im going to the Barrett Fieldmaster in 30-06 and a trued Rem 700 action, PacNor bbl, Mcmillan Game Scout stock for a 338 build. I need a lighter gun and I need it to work. But I did get a good remmy in that picture!

Love McMillan stocks and remington 700 actions. Tons of military snipers are built useing those to components. Id love to own a true m40.

Best gun I’ve ever shot was this (338)

Anybody with no experience could drill a target at 1200 meters + (Someone dialing in the corrections for you)

I was not a fan on the Barret 50 cal. Three shots later your arm in numb and you feel like you drank a 12 pack.

The 338 lapua was a round made for humans lol. Alot of urban snipers shot .308 but when they wanna touch someone out at 1,500 they pull out the 338s hahaha.( i used to wanna be a sniper)

Get one
