The Best Work Boot

I’ve ever worn is on sale now at the Wolverine

They hold up to our unique tortures, and have remained waterproof longer than any other boot I’ve worn. AND, they are darned comfortable.

How true to size are they? How’s the weight? My LLBean’s where they use cotton thread between uppers and lower, the SH rots the thread out in just a month or so. Can’t get them to last more than a few months max.

I find they’re true to size. They are a little heavier than the xtratuff’s but it’s a much sturdier boot. So far 6 months of use and 3 months of SH exposure they have been soaked many times and are wearing well.

So you guys are wearing those Wolverines in the middle of summer? They aren’t too hot after awhile?

@DisplacedTexan strictly wears cowboy boots.

Really? I thought he was a camo croc rocker.

Anything gets hot in the summer. I started in July in Texas and I was fine.

In the summer, I’m like most southerners and rockin my shorts. Those boots would look funny with shorts. Stick with my sneakers. Feet get wet most the time anyway, even with the Xtra’s, but who cares when it’s 95 outside.

I wear mine everyday with shorts. No one has given me any funny looks but that’s because they’re probably looking at my sunglasses :sunglasses::joy:

Almost exclusively. I do rock the Crocs and I stole a page out of @SurfaceTherapy’s fashion book and rock the slip on driver boots.

Proud of you. What are your thoughts? Liking the new footwear?

I will never not own a pair from now on. They are amazingly comfortable.

Got a link?

Rick, I got mine locally for $99 but this is the one I got. They have a few different designs if you want something a little less western.

Not if you’ll give in to the Bass Pro circuit uniform. THEN you’ll venture forth in real style struttin’ those wolverines.
