Test pump, no motor?!

I searched but didn’t find anything on this. Not surprising because it is definitely an odd ball question. Is there anyway to test a pump without a motor attached? It flows water so it’s not plugged up. It turns with ease. I am just not sure how to check the rest without opening it up or finding a motor. Thanks for all willing to share their experience!

I would assume the worst. It it turns over by hand and is not locked up look and see if it’s rebuildable and how much that will cost. I wouldn’t personally buy it not knowing if it worked.

Yep, I agree. I just have a strange idea of fun!

If you can get it for cheap and won’t miss the money I would say go for it! But I bought a new udor gear drive and didn’t have to worry!
