I wish j had the 16” instead of 19” for my 5.5
Bought the 19” Classic, now have questions.
The handlebars are closer together than my Ultra and I was having trouble walking with it as I hold it like a wheelbarrow. Is there some way to widen the bars?
Also, the right handle gun is tilted inward about 15 degrees and quite uncomfortable to hold, plus my little finger keeps getting pinched. The gun design is different.
I know a lot of you use a regular gun somehow but I just don’t see how having a straight left bar and a 45 degree right one is gonna work.

I have no issues with mine, I guess that’s why they make different models, people may like or dislike a certain one. I don’t know of a way to widen the bars without possibly messing it up. I guess you could get a different gun for it? I absolutely love mine. Hope it works out or just bring it back.
You’ll get used to it, it’s like anything once you have time on it Your body adapts to it.
Are the ultra cleans ambedextrious? Can you flip it over, rotate the gun around, and use it left handed or right handed?
Some do sell aftermarket handles without this feature.
Could someone please check their Classic gun handle and see if it’s 90 degrees or tilted? I can’t change this one, it’s welded in place by a bracket.

What your trying to do won’t work with the classic like it does with the ultra where you just unclip it and put your j rod on to spray. The ultra has a smaller handle on the one side to compensate for the gun height when it’s clipped in. That’s the only reason you would buy an ultra.
Thanks for posting this, it lets people like me learn how to do things. Back in Jan when I ordered my surface cleaner I called WW a couple of times before I got this answer (on the dif between ultra and classic) “the handles are made with cheaper parts” thus the $120 price difference (avg).

You can see how the gun bracket is tilted, it really aggravated my carpal.
Like @Innocentbystander said, I’ll just have to get the 19” Ultra instead, allows for a gun install and has wider bars. Southside isn’t allowing walk-ins right now so I couldn’t test drive one first.
And something else, the trigger handle is closer to the bar for some reason, plus it has those bolt heads in the way. My little finger kept getting pinched.
Use a normal trigger gun and the ultra will be easier on the wrist

Looks great, how did you throttle down? I assume you have a pressure gauge on your hose and changed the setting on your unloader? If yes what was it before and after the adjustment?
Nope, just dropped it down about a third. I never touch the unloader.

I am guessing he just throttled down the gas engine. It’s somewhat frowned on but you have to go with what works!
It was a last ditch thing, definitely won’t do it again if I can help it.
