They also have the 2 1/2 gallons for 4.97.

Today I am going to get some RV antifreeze from Wally World and switch out the fluid in the system. We will be 31 degrees today and tomorrow and then back up to the 60’s Thursday.

Overall, in my year now of doing this, for me, 80% of everything is making it easy on yourself. Trying to go under-equipped in a half-assed fashion has bit me in the butt every time. So many “What was I thinking” moments -
20,000 sq ft flatwork with a 2.5 gal machine…
Restaurant Drive-Thru with 5000 pieces of gum and heavy oil build-up with a cold water machine…
Daily shopping at the pool supply for SH…Not only $$$ but just PITA having to go and then the empty bottles…
15,000 sq ft limestone with a hand-pump…just spend $150 on a 12-volt pump, tank, hose and basic ball valve. The time wasted going back and forth filling a 2 gal just sucks… I spent $80 on a pump, got a 15 gal tank for free (actually got 3), plumb them to switch lines between for $10, a hose and ball valve for $60 and off to the races. It is the Cadillac of soft wash/chem systems…Nope…But it is a system that allows me to work effectively and with an minor league baseball stadium job with 40,000 sq ft limestone, you get I can upgrade the best system out there and still make good money.

If you are reading this, in most situations trying to short-cut processes or do without (suck it up buttercup and just work harder) is most of what makes this industry hard. Listen to the vets, make the financial sacrifices today so that you can work tomorrow effectively and get paid what you should.
