Tell us about Landscape Fortifier!

I was looking around on the Powerwash.com website and ran across this:

http://www.powerwash.com/cleaning-chemicals-and-detergents/general-purpose-cleaning-chemicals-and-detergents/landscape-fortifier-50-pounds.html

Looks very interesting…

Could be a great selling point when they customer always ask “Will it hurt my plants?”

Is this the stuff Doug Rucker was talking about?

I don’t know.
Maybe MHinderliter will chime in here.

Landscape Fortifier is a fertilizer that is used to follow up to a cleaning that can have a negative impact on the vegetation. It is very simple to use, just ad the water soluble granules to a hose end spray and give the landscape a single application.

I don’t remember if I sent any to Doug or not. I should probably make up a few samples for some contractors to try.

Micheal, I would like to try some out.

Michael, I would like to try some as well. I tried to get ahold of you Friday when I placed an order, but you were out.

Is it for foliage damage or salt poisoning?

How much of it do you use? I saw it in the store, but didnt know how cost effective it is…

We will get you a sample Clark.

Sorry I missed you Jeremy, hope I catch you the next time around. I will get you a sample.

Thad, basically it is used to strengthen the plant(s). It gives it a quick boost.

Let me double check the label tomorrow. The easiest way to use it is to apply with a hose end garden sprayer.

I gotta pick some of that up…

We have been super busy yesterday and today. We needed more supplies to get the samples made up and will be making some tomorrow morning. Please let PM your address for a sample so we can send them out tomorrow.

How much coverage will 50lbs yield? Is it sprayed on the plants or at the soil they are planted in? I will pick this up in a heart beat if it works well. I just ended the life of a cheap plant in someones yard where the downspout was gunning for it and I really couldn’t have rinsed more than I did, it was bound to die. Luckily that doesn’t happen often, but we never want to kill anything if we can help it.

This is right off the label:

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
In a hose end agricultural sprayer add 16 ounces of Landscape Fortifier to the sprayers cup. Product can also be mixed into a 2.5 gallon pump-up sprayer at the rate of 8 ounces per gallon of water. Liberally rinse all of the landscape at the base of the home top and bottom of all of the leaves and rinse product into base of plant into the soil. Leave on plants. Do not rinse off. Concentrate fluid should not exceed 10 lbs. in 10 gallons of water. Dissolve 3-5 lbs. per 100 gallons of water and apply as spray, 3 - 5 lbs. covers one acre. For best results apply once every two weeks.

I just ordered some! can you downstream it?? trying to figure the ratios…

No you can’t downstream it. I mean I guess you could but getting right ratio may be hard. Easiest way to use it is to use a hose end garden sprayer.
