The tank I bought some time ago came with an already cracked-up lid that has since disintegrated. Checked with Snyder industries and to get it to my door will cost + $40. 60 gallons leaves me high and dry frequently. Do any of you have suggestions about a good source for tanks somewhere around 100 gal?
Tractor supply has decent prices on horizontal leg tank… shipping prices are insane for tank depot type places, you can ship to store with them if they dont have it in stock.
Farm and home
I will say that I used my local farm store and they have really dropped the ball on me. I ordered a special size tank and it should have been in 3 weeks ago… thank god it’s still cold here. Actually getting ready to go plow snow…
tractor supply or northerntools
Neither. Farm king (local company with 4 or so stores)
This looks like a decent option:

Sure George… if you want to line the pockets of my sworn enemy Northern Tool…
JK, I actually like the shape of that tank better than most HLT.
Emma is from Wisconsin and we go up 3 or 4 times a year. National Tank Outlet is in Iowa so I’ll pull a trailer next time we go up and pick up an order. If not, I’ll pay close to a grand in shipping on all the tanks I need.
There’s no great options for tanks in KC either. Feldman’s Farm & Home has the same tanks in their yard as they had during the Great Depression it looks like. Caps missing. Animal scat in some of them… won’t lower their prices either.
Tractor supply seems a little on the high side too. If I had to go anywhere locally I’d probably have to swallow my pride and go to Northern Tool.
