Swivel

I just ordered my first ball valve/swivel setup. Does having the swivel inline make a big difference?

Once installed you’re going to wash you did it a long time ago.

A ball valve and swivel are the 2 most important things on a rig.

Couldn’t agree more Chad!

Thanks fellas for the input. Guy I appreciate the input. Ive gotten a ton of tips from alot of your posts. This past Friday I tried my first house wash with a “temperature-controlled” method. Worked beautifully, definitely sold me on it. Thanks

No Worries!

Is this the setup that Michael did a video of him washing a house with just a ball setup?

I’m not sure

If you have a ball valve, why do you need a swivel?

The swivel prevents your hose from growing up during use

What do you mean by growing up? That’s a new term for me

Sorry I meant curling up.
Silly auto-correct

Ok that’s cool.I appreciate it

GC, what is this “temperature controlled method” you speak of? Is there another thread you could point me to?

Using the burner on your skid to produce hot water, or temperature controlled washing.

You got that right! I can’t believe I went so long without a swivel! I will never run another surface cleaner without one! I save so much time not having to fight the hose!

Swivel before or after the BV? Or does it matter? I honestly don’t have many issues with my hose or either I just don’t realize that I am. I’ll try the swivel though just to see

I have it at the end of the hose before the ball valve. It makes a big difference when using a surface cleaner.

Do you have it quick connect

No. I just pull the end of the hose back to the truck before reeling.
