The dial goes to 5. I would put water at 5, sh at 4 (those are my normal settings for almost all I use the 12v for). And for the test put soap at 5 (full open also). This way I know at my normal usage of water and sh how much soap would be used. Once I figure it out I want to make the soap solution so putting the soap dial at 1 or 2 gives me the right amount of soap for normal application, but then I can crank it higher for steep roofs. I’ll do some testing hopefully today, write some numbers down and report back what I find.
Wouldn’t it make more sense or be easier to set your dial at like 2 during testing? Get it dialed in to your .2 ounce per gallon and then can then drop down to 1 if you ever need to go lower (doubtful) but able to increase up to 3, 4, and 5 for different roof pitches? I would bucket test for every number so you know what each one puts out for surfactant and SH.
