Surface edger

Just curious who has all used this surface edger and your thoughts on it?

Bought it, used it once. It worked, not good enough to lug it around. Bob Hogan brought it to my house himself. He lives a few miles away. Talked to him for an hour, real nice guy. Just another toy not in use.

Ive seen the youtube video before… With our surface cleaner (the one without wheels we can get the edges just fine) our surface cleaner with wheels gets hung up on grass every now and then but not enough to make me switch to that…

Seems it would only work on perfectly edged yards.

Ok my thoughts exactly. Unless you had a large amount of perfectly edged surface it seems like it would be a nuisance to attach and unattach often. When I searched it in the forums here and didn’t find it I figured it wasn’t a common tool!

Well actually, down here we do have a large amount of perfectly edged sidewalks and driveways, and the guy who invented it is 3 miles away from me . Most houses are governed by an HOA, and they require you to keep your lawn manicured and driveways cleaned(Thank God). There are always those areas that have out of control lawns.

seems like it would be a huge plus when working around mulched areas, that stuff flies everywhere when hit with over spray

It looks like it would come in handy… where can I buy one?

Never mind… found it… too pricey

I made my own for $10… Never use it but I have it for when the time comes
