What are the correct tips would I need for a Whisper Wash Ground force 24" Surface cleaner running off honda gx690 8gpm udor? 2504’s seem a bit too much pressure
Assuming it’s likely a 3500psi machine, then 2504s are probably the correct answer…I guess you could try 25045s if you can get them.
2 nozzle or 4 nozzle bar?
Good point, I assumed it had to be 2 nozzle, or no way 04s would be too much pressure…I hope, lol
Two nozzle. It tore up some patch work of an asphalt driveway corner on its first trial run today.
I think we found your problem…
I did my own small concrete walkway that met the drive way, (asphalt)and it overlapped onto the driveway caus I wanted to see compared to my old hammerhead 20in how the new one reacted in every way . This new one cleaned the old walkway good. Feels like will blow moss and weeds out easier than ever before . For only a 4 in difference I think it may save me over 1/3 time of previous surface cleaning
maybe, but if it’s being run by the same machine, probably not…if no more pressure/flow is happening, you’ll probably just have to walk slower to offset the wider span…
the narrower one should have generated the same pressure, running off the same machine, with the same # of tips on the bar…it’s just about the the tips and pressure/flow, width of SC isn’t in any of the calcs that I’ve seen…
If he’s getting a true 8gpm at the SC, he’ll want 2505’s to achieve 2500psi. I run four 25025’s on my 4 nozzle. 2504’s will be too much if I’m calculating correctly.
IDK, Can’t say I’ve ever tested the actual pressure at the SC (don’t care too much what the number is TBH), but we run 2504s on our 8gpms all the time. Just enough pressure for a slight hover, and does the job perfectly, which is all I care, lol.
As far as the numbers go, they’re 3500psi machines, but I doubt they’re hitting more than 3200, maybe 3000 after 200’ of hose.
You already answered the question where you said asphalt. Let alone asphalt patchwork
