Surface cleaner on a paver driveway?

Do you have a link to the ball valve that you’re using? I’ve been using these and the handle wears out in two months to the point they won’t turn completely open or closed.

Damn - I just bought three of those :frowning:

They’re good valves for occasional use but I use them every time I start my machine. I don’t like killing the machine to switch lances. The valves themselves are solid but the handle wears out.

I put female quick connects on on all our guns and Male on Lance’s and surface cleaners. Works great I have two ball valves that mostly just sit in the truck toolbox now

The ball valve that I’m using is not rated for pressure washing. I buy them from Home Depot, 1/2 in. pro series I think. They serve their purpose and last a few months until their handles do the same.

We always use ball valves. It allows us to switch between lance and surface cleaner and to rinse. If I need to add an additional section of 100 ft hose, I can open the valve and disconnect it, add the hose and put the valve on that end without stopping the machine. We do this a lot when needing long lengths of hoses.

I’m going to have to give that a try. Always felt like that’s too much weight on a QC but if it works for you and others I’m sure it’s a winner.
