This only took me 10 years to think of…
Now you just need a 30" straw and you won’t even have to pick it up.
That sign very clearly states that it is non-potable water and I doubt that any human person could pick up that large water container.
That would take longer than a 30" straw. You’d need a hose reel for your straw because that drinking container would have to stay on the trailer.
Go sit in the shade Grunt, I thinks y’all are dehydrated.
@Steve I like the red on those reels! How come you run the female leading on your hose, is there a benefit from your particular setup?
As William pointed out to me, switch out that stock gun for a 2315, a lot more comfortable.
It made so much sense when I saw it
Same surface cleaner as yours, that 90 fitting is brutal and flow robbing, and so is the one that comes at the swivel on some of these ultras to soften the hit, now that your running an 8gpm with a GX630 you should have kept the classic like I told you but it was too uncomfortable for you . Psi and flow hate 90’s.
I’m almost 50. I like comfort.
50’s young, don’t insult me.
Because he’s ornery and didn’t want to listen to me
Yeah, because I’m right handed and when I disconnect a hose I like to be able to grab the hose and pull the QC lock back with 2 fingers. I find it awkward when the female is on the gun.
And this
Exactly, same here.
There is a “that’s what she said joke” in plain sight here. I need to grow up.
I’m going to try to rig something like this too, very cool. Thanks for sharing.
I knew you had a reason! That’s a good point, I have definitely found myself fumbling a little sometimes when taking the gun off at the end of the job, especially if my QC is tight/stuck
I run my hose the same way. Why would you run your hose the opposite way. I can understand it if you dont run solid hose. Then you definitely want a female facing the other way but always run males on the gun or any attachment and females on the hose @Jake_Lambert
During my research for the first 8 months before I started building my system, the arguments on here with male ends leading made more sense to me. I do have a connection at 100’ that gets dragged around, so wanted the male end leading for safety. That’s why I have a female at the handle of my gun and the outlet
I can’t wrap my mind around why this has anything to do with it
Is this specifically in reference to hooking up to your surface cleaner? Because removing the built in gun and using your 2315 instead would eliminate the issue.
I’ve tried it both ways and I’m comfortable with the way that it currently is.
