@SchertzServicesLLC this popped up in my newsfeed.

The govt should have no hand in education. Privatize it. Doing away with war on drugs and cut pokice force by two third. Privatize fire service.

amen!

Almost everything the government tries to control or stick their nose in ends up costing 100 times more than what it should. Their answer is to always pump more money into thinking it’ll eventually fix the problem.

Even if the government gets more tax dollars no way will they use it wisely like on something like infrastructure. There is so much wasteful spending. Who benefits most from all of this? It’s the crooked politicians who bring bills like this to the table. They get kickbacks while the America taxpayer gets the shaft once again. I’ve always been for a flat tax rate across the board. Personally I wouldn’t vote to give them a penny more until they actually really need it.

Privatize as many government departments as we can and we’d be out of debt in less than a year. They would even be able to decrease taxes.

We already pay way more in taxes than what our government needs. They just have to get their spending in check. No way should the country with the greatest economy to ever live have the debt that we have.

It’s definitely not the lack of tax dollars that put our country in the shape it’s in.

Online sellers shouldn’t have to figure the tax rate for thousands of individual taxing areas and then submit funds or reports. If the brick and mortar retailers want fairness they should charge their customers a shipping charge to save USPS. Times change, maybe the inefficient buggy whip salesmen should adapt instead of making things difficult for the automobile.

The best solution I see is to have online retailers only collect tax for the area they are physically present in. I mean tax everyone at the retailer’s rate and only that state or municipality receives the taxes.

the streets near amazon HQ would be paved with gold lol

I sell on Amazon and much of what is sold on there is fulfilled by people in little out of the

way places that would be happy to be paved anything. Forcing people to drive 45 miles so that the cities can get more tax revenue is just backward thinking.
