Supply hose through the reel or not? Pros/Cons

Running belt drive 5.5gpm 2500psi and a small 35 gallon buffer that will be emptied to a few gallons before driving.

someone said “through the reel” decreases gpm (already low enough so don’t want to lower it)…

someone else said at 5.5 gpm there will not be a flow restiction… so…

comments on that

AND

what is good and bad about through reel and what is good and bad about just using reel to hold the hose…

I prefer to minimize messing with stuff and want a splitter to run a garden hose whip for buckets, handwashing, emergencies, etc.

much appreciated… trying like the dickens to get this trailer set up! Hoping to do it making best possible decisions from get go…

5.5 through the reel you are perfectly fine.

No need to empty thirty five gallons before driving… some people carry that in Mountain Dew after a trip to Walmart

Keep the water it. I disconnect and hook straight into the tank but I’m trying to get all the water i can. You will probably be ok
